Change Your Life It is the one ritual that will change your life! Best part? It is simple to do! Talk about Effortless!

My mantra is “It takes Effort to be Effortless & it is WORTH it!!”

I am a Momma of 2 girls, 10 & 3. I run a transformational coaching business. Needless to say, I am busy – just like you. So Effortless systems are mandatory in our lives.

So let’s get to it.

The One Ritual is ….. Setting a Daily Intention. It will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!

This is SO powerful in so many ways! Here are my favorites.

Intention Creates Focus

For most of us, we are rushing to get out of the door to get to all the “stuff” we need to do. We are not focused in on how we want to feel throughout the day. When we spend a few minutes daily focusing in on how we want to feel – that is really powerful.

Intention Guides Us

We can leverage the intention to have it guide us throughout our day. When facing a decision we can ask ourselves “Which option will best serve my intention for the day?”
What an amazing way to leverage our “inner GPS”?

Creates Presence

As our lives seems to get more busy, we need to make the time to live in the present moment. When we begin our day with an intention, we start off taking a few deep breaths to get present and increase our vibrations. It’s like rebooting our brain.

Okay, now that I have “sold” you on some of the benefits of Setting an Intention,

Here are 3 Effortless Ways to Set An Intention:

1. State of Mind

This is essential! If you are setting an intention out of fear, worry, stress or any other negative vibration the intention is not as powerful. So, let’s maximize the power of the intention!

Take a few cleansing breaths. Focus on 3 different things you have Gratitude for. Engage your emotions into the activity. When you elicit your emotions, your energetic vibrations will increase.

Now, take a few moments to focus on your breath. This creates presence in the here and now.
Next, ask yourself “How do I want to feel today?” Do you want to feel empowered, loved, happy, generous, etc? Take a moment and sink into that feeling.

Finally ask yourself “Are there any meetings or events that are happening today?” “How do I want to show up in those meetings/events?” Do you want to be a leader? Do you want to give value? Do you want to connect with like minded people?

Take a few final cleansing breaths. You can use my mantra. As I breathe in, I state “I am inhaling Love, Light & Oodles of Positive Vibes” and when I exhale I say to myself “I am releasing any emotions/thoughts which do not serve my intention.”

2. Release the Control

This is crucial. So many times our minds want to jump to “how” our intention will manifest. By doing that we are limiting ourselves to a few outcomes. And who the heck wants to be limiting? By releasing the control we can allow for the intention to manifest.

3. Unwavering Belief

Trust the universe has your back. Sometimes things happen for us in unexpected ways. The outcome can hit us by surprise, so trust Life is Happening FOR YOU. Always. Because life is filled with speed bumps, detours & construction zones. And in those “hiccups” is where we are able to grow, learn & stretch into our Best Self!

The last thing is to incorporate this into your daily practice to really see the change in your life. Remember, it take effort to be effortless!

The Power of Negative Emotions

For the longest time I didn’t “allow” myself to process negative emotions.

I didn’t want to be “The Emotional Gal” because I was told I wouldn’t be taken seriously – especially in Corporate America.

So, whenever I had negative emotions like fear, guilt or sadness I would tell myself “They were bad” and would push them deep inside. I thought I had it all figured out.

If I was able to be “happy” all the time, then everything would be fine. Kind of like the Seinfeld episode “Serenity NOW”.

It worked for a while. Then it all crashed down upon me…

I had a breakdown. I was exhausted, overwhelmed, full of anxiety and completely lost.

Even though it looked like I had it all … from Manifesting my Soulmate as a Divorced Mom to our amazing home in Los Angeles, our 2 beautiful girls, the “dream” job in Corporate America & a successful interior design business.

During my breakdown, I finally rolled up my sleeves and did the inner work that I desperately needed but never wanted to face.

Through a year of non-stop therapy, coaching, seminars, book & resources I was able to go through the dark and embrace the lights.

 I realized Negative thoughts ARE GOOD FOR US! 

They are there intentionally to alert us that something is off. It is a trigger for us to reflect and see what is going on with us and our environment. It’s a fabulous awareness tool. Here is a video I cut just for this important topic.

The thing is, most of us choose not to process and release them, we are only hurting ourselves & the people we love. We end up depressed, anxious and stressed. We take prescribe meds which can lead to other issues or we self medicate though food, shopping, gambling, passive aggressive actions, gossiping ….

Instead of harming ourselves and the people around us, let’s take BACK the control. Let’s process those pesky negative emotions. Then we can release them. And we can get back into our High Vibes.

Because my dear, we are all energy. And we are human magnets.

When we are radiating high vibes of love, gratitude, abundance – we attract more of that in our life.

Conversely, when we are living in the negative emotions for too long, we continue to attract more things to continue staying in the lower energetic vibrations.

And we can see it all around us. I am sure you have the Eeyore’s or Oscar the Grouch’s in the world. Remember the down in the dumps donkey from Winnie the Poo & the Green haired guy living in the trash can on Sesame Street? They had one thing is common. They were always radiating lower energy levels.

This is such an important piece of living a life you are Obsessed with. We all have days which drive us crazy. Crap happens. And that is okay.

Instead of pushing it down and trying to rationalize it, start to process it. Understand it. Learn from it. That is SO POWERFUL in our self awareness and reflection.

Because life is a journey, not a destination. The world is our classroom. It is up to us to find the lesson, search for the silver lining in all. That is how we grow. How we learn and how we teach others.

3 Simple Steps to Stop Living in The FutureThis was SOO me a few years ago. I had a newborn, along with a 7 year old. I was working full time in Corporate America. I also had an interior design business. It was crazy! As an ambitious women, I was permanently living in the future. I was always planning for the next thing. And then I had a breakdown. And everything changed. Here are 3 Simple Steps to Stop Living in the Future.

And the Acronym is “WTF”!! Fitting huh???

1. Write it Down

This is huge. When we have everything up in our head, it is nearly impossible to stay present. How can you when you are trying to remember not to forget to pick up the wine tomorrow after getting off work? So – give your brain a break and write down the key things you need to do. I help my clients create weekly plans to stay on track while being present. It’s awesome sauce!

2. Take a Tech Timeout

I love technology. So much that I was partially obsessed. So, I took a timeout for 9 days. For some people, 9 days sounds like a breeze. It can be tough for people that are on technology all day (and night!). Check out blog on Unplugging from Social Media here. I am not suggesting ban it completely, but I am saying take a technology timeout daily. Even if it is for 30 minutes. When you don’t have a device in your hand or close by, you have more time to focus on the present.

3. Find Joy

What gives you joy? Is it being outside? Or do you have a cozy chair you love sinking into with a “real book”? Is it tickling your baby and getting high vibes from their contagious laugh? Or is it having a glass of wine, or a cup of coffee? Whatever it is, indulge in acts of joy everyday. Whether it is 5 minutes or 5 hours, when you take time for joy, that is when you are focused on the present. And that is a great place to be.

Guys, it can be simple. Simple is all I do. Anything too complicated doesn’t work for my crazy, amazing life.

Take time to implement these acts daily and you will start to see the shift. It’s the small changes that lead to the huge breakthroughs!

Focus on the present. Because yesterday is history and tomorrow is not promised!
